When looking at the light spectrum of a conventional white LED, the disadvantage of an uneven color distribution becomes visible. While the blue component is very pronounced, there is a lack of a strong component in the blue-green area and the red component. This results in humans perceiving red and blue-green colors, in particular, as distorted.

In the daylight workplace light, LEDs are installed where the blue light components have been reduced so that the spectral curve resembles the continuous spectrum of sunlight. This reduces stray reflections and glare, which are common with conventional LEDs.
