The electrical engineering sector presented itself strongly in 2017. Around 21,000 professionals from trade and industry, and thus more than in 2015, visited the trade fair for building and industrial applications from February 15 to 17, 2017. The trade fair was characterized by well-attended forums in the halls, crowded aisles, and a positive atmosphere at the booths.
More than 400 exhibitors at the electrical engineering 2017 came from a total of 13 nations. In addition to Germany, these included, among others, the United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, and Ukraine. Among the visitors were, in addition to the numerous guests from North Rhine-Westphalia, visitors from Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Hesse, Lower Saxony, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saxony, and Thuringia. More than one in five visitors traveled over 100 kilometers to attend.
Our LED lighting family for office workstations was well received by the visitors. The wall, standing, and pendant lights of the Clara family offer excellent economic efficiency in both acquisition and operating costs. The LED technology contained in the lights is particularly energy-saving and offers a very good illumination with high efficiency for both direct and indirect lighting. Another highlight was our LED lights, which are precisely tailored to the demanding visual tasks in laboratories, at assembly workstations, or at electronic manufacturing stations.
We are very satisfied with the quality and quantity of visitors. We have definitely achieved our goal of establishing new customer contacts and giving visitors an overview of our products. Through numerous interesting and intensive discussions, we were also able to gain many new suggestions for further development of our portfolio.
